• Title: Outstanding First-Year Student

Nathan Snizik is a first year from Springboro, Ohio majoring in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) and International Studies. Looking to make this big school feel a bit smaller, Nathan got involved quickly after starting at Ohio State, joining the Ohio Union Activities Board (OUAB), the Association of Big Ten Students, and serving as the president of the Houck/Taylor Community Council. While he did not have any event planning experience before coming to OSU, Nathan has learned quickly about what it means to program for his residence hall community and the campus. He has already learned some crucial leadership lessons about overcoming imposter syndrome and how to balance his time, and he hopes to continue building those skills through the Second Year Transformational Experience Program (STEP) and the Fisher Industry Immersion Program next year.
