Local Service Trips
Throughout the year, Pay It Forward provides smaller scale local service opportunities. We provide transportation to and from service sites, so there is no need for you to find your own. We offer a wide variety of service trips focusing on various community issues to allow students to gain new experiences and match students to opportunities that they are genuinely passionate about.
The Garden District Corporation: Sunday, March 23, 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
Student volunteers will be will be executing garden maintenance, weeding, removing junk, building raised beds, planting, seeding, mulching, laying down agriculture fabric. No garden experience needed.

Furniture With a Heart: Saturday, March 29, 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
Student volunteers will depart from the Ohio Union at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29. Volunteers will be assembling furniture kits, sorting items, sweeping and cleaning the warehouse and sales foor, and picking up trash.

South Central Commons Block Watch: Saturday, April 5, 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
Student volunteers will depart from the Union at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 5. Volunteers will be working outside prepping the community garden.

Student volunteers will depart from the Union at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 6. Volunteers will be cleaning, organizing, and picking up trash.
