Knowlton Society
- Title: Outstanding New Student Organization Award
The Knowlton Society’s mission is to position the Knowlton School and its students as a unified, dynamic force that resonates across The Ohio State University. Since its inception, KS has been cross-disciplinary; the society thrives as a collective force, bridging gaps between disciplines and uniting individuals under a shared pursuit of meaningful impact. While Knowlton Hall’s signature graffiti may be gone, the phrase “stay weird, Knowlton” that once adorned Knowlton Hall’s stairwells, has spawned the #keepknowltonweird campaign, which encourages students to reclaim their spaces creatively. Despite being a newer organization, the Knowlton Society has already engaged in a variety of programming including the Knowlton Town Hall, The Desk Crit initiative and various collaborations with other student organizations such as the International Society of Muslim Women in Step and the City and Regional Planning Student Association. Though they’re only getting started, they have proven that Knowlton Society amplifies student voices, celebrates creativity and strengthens the bonds between Knowlton and the wider Ohio State community.
