Ja'Niyah Yarbrough

Ja’Niyah Yarbrough is a junior Human Development and Family Science major who is passionate about fostering community and supporting students in their transition to off campus living. As an Operations Student Supervisor with the Willie J. Young Sr. Off-Campus and Commuter Student Engagement Office, Ja’Niyah works directly with students, parents, property owners and campus partners to ensure a positive off-campus experience. Ja’Niyah played a key role in co-leading the office’s annual staff retreat, helping to strengthen collaboration and shared purpose among team members. Ja’Niyah is also known for her ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations and has become a trusted resource for students navigating housing challenges, ensuring they feel confident in their next steps. Ja’Niyah has helped rebrand and grow the Operations Student Supervisor position, demonstrating strong delegation and project execution skills. Through her commitment to building connections and enhancing the student experience, Ja’Niyah continues to leave a lasting impact on the Ohio State community.
