Iman Sattar
- Title: Outstanding Senior Award
Being a member of the Women’s Rowing team at Ohio State has added a transformative layer to Iman Sattar’s college experience, making her the first hijabi athlete in the university's history. A neuroscience major from Hilliard, Ohio, Iman has pushed herself not only as an athlete, but as a trailblazer who broke down barriers for future Buckeyes in Athletics and as a leader in the Muslim Student Association. Her commitment to creating a better world for underrepresented populations was also cultivated through her volunteer work at the Noor Free Clinic, where she supported uninsured and underinsured patients, predominately minorities and immigrants with limited healthcare access. After graduation, she plans to bring all these passions together as she pursues a medical degree to become a physician, continuing to create an impact on her community for years to come.
