Known for their engagement in communities through Columbus, BuckeyeThon is an organization whose mission is rooted in its commitment to inspire hope and lasting change for all the children and their families that are fighting against childhood cancer. Their primary objective is to raise funds and awareness for Nationwide Children's Hospital and they work to achieve this goal through the organization of campus-wide programs that engage students in philanthropic efforts. BuckeyeThon transcends the traditional boundaries of student involvement by combining the spirit of service with an active commitment to champion the kids at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. As one of the top fundraising groups in the Children Miracle’s Network, they engage their members in several philanthropic and fundraising outlets. Open to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, BuckeyeThon is rich in community perspective. Overall, BuckeyeThon is steadfast in their dedication to service, collaborating both externally and internally to provide unique leadership opportunities to students while working toward a future free from pediatric cancer and blood disorders.
