Leadership and Community Engagement offers a variety of programs designed to help students engage at a local, national, and global level. Volunteer as a Pantry Assistant at NSI’s Food Pantry, located less than a mile away from the OSU campus center. Roll up your sleeves and help keep our pantry running strong by assisting neighbors with shopping in the pantry, stocking shelves, receiving deliveries, sorting donations, greeting neighbors, and more! This essential work ensures local families can access healthy nutrition in a safe community space. No prior experience needed! We offer flexible shifts 6 days a week that you can sign up for at your convenience. We do require closed-toed shoes. All volunteers will receive an orientation and will sign a volunteer liability waiver upon arrival. Sign up today to join your local community in the fight to end hunger in Central Ohio.
