As a full-time varsity student-athlete, Victoria Adele Carlson has been a member of Buckeye Spectrum since her freshman year. As one of the founding members of Buckeye Spectrum, she has worked hard to establish and grow the organization over the last four years. This senior Landscape Architecture from Ipswich, Massachusetts has worked hard to seek guest speakers, resources, and professional development opportunities to expose members to the broad diversity of experiences within the LGBTQIA+ community. She has been able to amplify the organization’s value and purpose on a national scale, especially considering the activation of the Buckeye Spectrum Pride Game vs. Iowa. Victoria has been able to extend the Buckeye Spectrum community across generations of alum in celebrating the graduation and persistence of Queer Buckeye student-athletes through establishing an annual QueerBQ. After graduation she will be pursuing her passion for Landscape Architecture.
