Taylor Schwein is a double Buckeye and no stranger to what it means to give back to the OSU and Columbus communities. This native of Ontario, Ohio earned her bachelor’s in nursing from OSU in 2021 before continuing on to her Doctorate of Nursing Practice. While working on her doctorate, she has served on the One University Health & Wellness Council to advise health and wellness matters on campus, including the development of Ohio State’s Health and Wellness Strategic Plan for 2024-2029 and as student lead for the Commission on Mental Health Work Group under the leadership of Dr. Melissa Shivers & Dean Melnyk. She has also applied the commitment to community service and leadership she gained with BuckeyeThon by serving as the Graduate Student Trustee on the OSU Board of Trustees for the last two years. She will remain in Columbus after graduation and work as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, continuing her Buckeye legacy.
