A third-year Biomedical Science major and native of Solon, Ohio, Srihan Anand is the Founder and President of Music in Medicine, an organization that empowers Ohio State students to share their musical talents with patients, families and staff at hospitals and care facilities in Central Ohio. As a busy pre-med student, Srihan has made holistic wellness a guiding principle of his academic career, using music as an outlet to enhance his focus, creativity and compassion. This school year, Music in Medicine has expanded, serving over 50 patients and consistently receiving positive feedback about the emotional relief and sense of community its sessions foster.
