Shannon Mullaly, a Residential Experience Specialist for Housing and Residence Education, has quickly become an invaluable advisor to Off the Lake Theatre Productions. Recognizing OTL’s unique role as the only student-led theater production at Ohio State that stages a full musical annually, Shannon immediately acted to secure rehearsal and performance spaces after unexpected challenges necessitated relocation. Shannon builds meaningful relationships with members by attending events, organizing regular check-ins and fostering a welcoming, solutions-oriented environment. Her ability to connect OTL with vital campus resources—from funding opportunities to space management—has strengthened the organization’s foundation for long-term success. More than just an advisor, Shannon is a mentor and advocate who empowers students to lead with confidence and resilience, ensuring OTL will continue to thrive and make an impact.
