Sara Abul-Khoudoud

• Title: Outstanding Senior Award

A biomedical science major from Ashland, Kentucky, Outstanding Senior Sara Abul-Khoudoud has been actively involved in the Ohio State community since her freshman year. An active member of the medical research community, Sara has worked in the Satoskar Lab in the Department of Pathology for the last three and a half years and is currently pursuing an Undergraduate Research Thesis under the guidance of Dr. Lorraine Wallace. She is also a member and leader of the Lebanese Student Organization where she has worked to expand the reach and membership of the organization for students across campus and create additional leadership opportunities for interested members. Her experiences around Ohio State and as a volunteer at The James Comprehensive Cancer Center have been instrumental in shaping her outlook and career goals in medicine. Following graduation, she plans to enroll in medical school with the goal of supporting underserved communities as a physician and researcher dedicated to increasing accessibility to medicine.
