Mohamed Alodat

Graduating this spring with his Doctor of Dental Surgery, Mohamed Alodat of Cleveland is dedicated to advancing the field of dentistry through his skills and his advocacy. As part of his role in the Arab Dental Society, Mohamid organized a nonprofit mission to the Al-Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, helping to raise over $15,000 while providing dental services and education to over 400 refugees with limited access to healthcare. Mohamed was inspired by the resilience and gratitude of the people he met, and this experience inspired him to continue pursuing ways to make dental care accessible for all. He continued to do that, volunteering at Hilltop Free Dental Clinic and collaborating with the Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps to provide care to individuals here in Columbus. After graduation, he will continue to advocate for communities in need while working to improve access to dental care for all.
