Miles Meisse

• Title: Outstanding Green Buckeye Award

Miles Meisse, a first-year Logistics Management major in the Fisher College of Business, has begun to leave his impact on Ohio State by serving as a member of the Undergraduate Student Government’s Sustainability Committee, wherein he is helping to advance initiatives that merge environmental consciousness with personal wellness. Miles is leading USG’s Sustainable Yoga class, not only by organizing and promoting the event, but also as an instructor, helping students explore the intersectionality of wellness and sustainability. Through this initiative, students receive sustainably made yoga mats, reinforcing the connection between mindful living and environmental stewardship. Miles’ ability to balance event planning, leadership and advocacy will have a lasting impact on Ohio State’s sustainability efforts. His passion for engaging students in eco-friendly practices and fostering community well-being will continue to shape his leadership throughout his time on campus and far beyond.
