Meghan Bhanoo

From Bainbridge, Ohio, Meghan Bhanoo is a third-year student pursuing bachelor's degrees in Ecological Engineering and Dance. Meghan has significant experience in research, climate education and environmental policy, and has worked remotely with climate experts in France to adapt and facilitate the 2tonnes climate change workshop for U.S. audiences, inspiring individuals to examine and reduce their own carbon footprint. As an undergraduate research assistant in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Meghan applies engineering principles to model the effects of climate change on Ohio agriculture, bridging technical experience with real-world impact. Additionally, Meghan has conducted water quality research in Ghana, deepening her understanding of global environmental challenges. These experiences have shaped Meghan’s leadership and commitment to building sustainable solutions locally and globally, and she plans to continue her pursuit of sustainability professionally after graduation.
