Maneeth Ellendula
- Title: Outstanding Senior Award
President of BuckeyeThon, President of Village Mentors at Ohio State and a research assistant in the Rajaram Lab, Maneeth Ellendula is a Molecular Genetics major from Columbus. His work in the Rajaram Lab provided him opportunities to grow as a leader and researcher as he engaged in work involving bacterial pathogens and Cystic Fibrosis and provided him with the opportunity to present his findings at a national immunology conference in Chicago earlier this year. As President of BuckeyeThon, Maneeth focused on expanding the organization’s reach and sought to engage more students in their mission following a decline in engagement resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. This work also deeply impacted his desire to pursue a career as a physician as he witnessed the collaborative nature of healthcare professionals supporting pediatric patients. After completing his time here at Ohio State, Maneeth plans to attend medical school and pursue a career where he can work to close gaps in access to healthcare.
