• Title: Outstanding Senior Award

A Psychology major from Philadelphia, Kaira Mack is passionate about scholarship, philanthropy and service. As an out-of-state student, she found the Alumnae Scholarship Housing (ASH) Program to be a sanctuary where she lived with like-minded individuals that supported and pushed her. Through ASH, she got involved in the USG Black Caucus, where, among other things, she founded the Graduation Cap and Gown Program that offers complimentary graduation regalia rental for graduating seniors. As a member of the Alumnae Scholarship (ASH) Program and a recipient of the Beanie Drake Scholarship, Kaira felt a responsibility to pay forward the support she received in a manner that would be equally as impactful for future years to come. After graduation, she hopes to pursue her Masters in Psychology and eventually a Ph.D. to work in Talent Acquisition in Human Resources to uplift deserving students in need of opportunities.
