A first year Marketing major from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kachi Onyia is a proud Morrill Scholar who is building her leadership skills as a Business Scholar, a Leadership Initiatives for Women of Color (LIWOC) scholar, and a leader in African Youth Leage (AYL). Kachi is deeply committed to creating a more inclusive university community because of her experiences growing up and has found a home within AYL, where she has confronted imposter syndrome and connected to her culture. She plans to build on the leadership lessons she has already gained at OSU to continue to create a more inclusive Buckeye community, both in her academics and in her co-curricular experiences.
