Jean-Pierre Khouzam

Jean-Pierre Khouzam, of Beavercreek, Ohio, is pursuing his Masters in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology and has been shaped by his experience as a varsity swimmer, researcher, and mentor at Ohio State. Elected captain of the Ohio State Varsity Swim Team, he led by example, fostering a culture of discipline and teamwork. His passion for research emerged from his interest in athlete recovery, leading him to conduct a study on cold-water immersion while balancing rigorous training. As a graduate student, Khouzam expanding his impact by mentoring undergraduate researchers and leading the Exercise is Medicine—On Campus initiative, securing $10,000 in funding for student wellness programs on campus. After graduation, Jean-Pierre aspires to become a medical doctor and plans to continue as a leader and community health advocate.
