• Title: Outstanding Student Organization Program

The Entomology Graduate Student Association (EGSA) is a student-led organization focused on entomology education, outreach, community support, professionalism, and having fun with insects. EGSA is committed to developing education materials for learning objectives involving entomology, ecology, conservation, exploration, biodiversity, creative thinking and expression. With events that are offered throughout central and northeast Ohio, EGSA promotes outreach and educational community engagement to those in rural communities and beyond. Their outreach is interdisciplinary, often integrating technology. Overall, EGSA is an organization that aims to provide educational opportunities around the importance of entomology to people of all age groups, fostering positive relationships between the university and the community.
