• Title: Student Organization Excellence in Operations

Engineers Without Borders’ mission is to bring sustainable solutions to communities in need. This organization utilizes community-centered design to work directly with underprivileged communities to develop projects that provide solutions to their needs. Two of their most recent prevalent projects include the production of an irrigation system in the village of Njau, The Gambia and the expansion of educational space at a school in Carrera, Ecuador. Their wide variety of projects allows students from diverse educational backgrounds to find solutions to engineering problems that interest them, whether the projects relate to their field of study or not. Open to students of all majors, EWB provides its members with the opportunity to develop professionally while fostering strong relationships with communities both locally and around the world.
