Emma Hart

• Title: Outstanding Green Buckeye Award

A first-year Environnmental Policy and Decision-Making major, Emma Hart is a leader on campus who is focused on advocating for sustainability and pursuing meaningful change in environmental policy. As a leader within the Undergraduate Student Government’s Sustainability Committee, Emma has created innovative programs to foster awareness and action on campus, including by organizing the Enviornmental Board Game Night, where students engaged with sustainability concepts through interactive games. Emma also played a key role in planning Ohio State’s State of Sustainability event, which aims to bring together experts to discuss Ohio State’s progress and future goals in environmental responsibility. Emma has also authored and passed resolutions through USG. Emma’s leadership, communication skills and passion for the environment will guide her as she pursues a career in law and policy, working to build a more sustainable future for all.
