• Title: Outstanding Senior Award

Deep Gupta is a double major in Actuarial Science and Data Analytics from Westerville, Ohio who has been helping BuckeyeThon Make Miracles as Vice President of Finance and then President of the organization. As President, he has led BuckeyeThon’s relationship with Ohio State faculty and Nationwide Children’s Hospital; led General Body weekly to implement the Leadership Team’s strategic priorities for the year, maximizing fundraising efforts; and overseen BuckeyeThon’s long-term growth on campus and in the Columbus community by exploring and strengthening relationships with donors, partners, and other organizations. Through his role as a leader in the Actuarial Club, he has been invited to provide a perspective on the young actuary’s experience in school and the field to the Mathematics Advisory Board. After graduation, Deep has committed to join New York Life Insurance Company in Manhattan, NYC, in their actuarial program. He plans to continue giving his Time, Talent, and Treasure to philanthropic efforts for the rest of his life.
