• Title: Outstanding Senior Award

Cody Simon is a Finance Major from Jersey City and a proud member of the Ohio State football team. As team captain, Cody upholds the standards of excellence expected of the Buckeyes and is a responsible role model for his fellow players. Seeing the team as a brotherhood, Cody has learned how to overcome the challenges of keeping other motivated and engaged, even through challenges. He is also a member of Redefining Athletic Standards, a student organization that creates space where Men of Color student-athletes are able to come together, tackle social challenges, and foster personal growth. Cody’s Ohio State journey is not quite done yet, as he has one more season of football on the horizon this Fall, after which he plans to pursue a career carrying on a strong Buckeye legacy in the NFL.
