• Title: Dean's Leadership Award

A senior Integrated Business and Mechanical Engineering double major from Cincinnati, Cameron Shahrooz has committed himself to creating a feeling of community for his fellow students as a Building Manager for the Ohio Union and a leader in the Ohio Union Activities Board. As a Building Manager at the Ohio Union, Cameron makes sure that all Ohio State students and other Union visitors feel welcome, comfortable, and safe inside the building. In this role, he represents the policies of the Union, but also the goal of it being a hub for student activities on campus. Both inside and outside of the Union, he works hard to treat every student he encounters with equal respect and care. A s an active member of the Lectures Committee within OUAB, he has helped plan and execute over 100 free events every semester, including an event with ESPN sports analyst Stephen A. Smith.
