Camden Burgess

• Title: Student Organization Emerging Leader Award

A sophomore Computer Science & Engineering major from Elyria, Ohio, Camden Burgess is an engaged member of the Society of Women Engineers. From her first days in SWE, she has stepped into new roles with enthusiasm, taking on challenges and leading by example. Camden’s commitment to creating a supportive environment is evident in her mentorship within the Big-Little program and her involvement in planning major SWE events. As one of only two women on her robotics team, she is proud to be a woman in STEM, bringing technical expertise and resilience to the field. Beyond SWE, Camden contributes to her community through the Stadium Scholarship Program and plans to further pursue leadership as a Resident Advisor. Camden’s ability to build meaningful relationships and inspire those around her will serve her well as she continues to make an impact on the Ohio State community.
