Committed to combating waste and promoting sustainability by redistributing excess medical supplies to under-resourced communities, Blueprints for Pangaea is a student-led organization dedicated to addressing inefficient healthcare resource distribution through sustainable efforts. Within their Columbus chapter, the organization has redistributed ~$565,000 worth of supplies to Central American regions and local clinics in the last four years. Blueprints for Pangaea has worked creatively to forge partnerships with medical facilities, coordinate logistics and navigate regulatory guidelines, all while maintaining a focus on medical and environmental sustainability.
