A native of Strongsville, Ohio, junior Biomedical Science major Anya Krishnan’s Ohio State journey has been defined by her dedication to service, engagement, and community impact. As a leader in Pay It Forward, she plays a pivotal role in organizing large-scale events like Community Commitment and Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service – events that bring hundreds of Buckeyes together to make a tangible difference. As a member of Best Buddies, Anya helps foster an environment of belonging by coordinating monthly events that uplift and celebrate individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Whether forming one-on-one connections with patients at the James Cancer Center through her work as Service Coordinator for MEDLIFE OSU or inspiring fellow Buckeyes through her dedication to community service, Anya is continually leaving her impact on the Ohio State community.
