• Title: Outstanding Student Organization Positional Leader

Ally Lewis is the Publicity Director for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). In this role, this sophomore Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering major from Bellbrook, Ohio is responsible for distribution of apparel to the organization’s 300+ members, publicizing events and initiatives, and actively engaging members and stakeholders through SWE’s social media. Ally’s passion and vision for her role as Publicity Director helped her create personal goals of shifting social media to be more member-focused, rather than just promoting events, and focusing on inclusivity and accessibility with apparel and social media. She has far exceeded her own goals and the expectations of her peers, making her a reliable and impactful leader in SWE and leaving a lasting impact on the role and the organization as a whole.
