Alison Thomas

  • Title: Outstanding Senior Award

Throughout her time at Ohio State, Alison Thomas has served as a member and leader of BuckeyeThon, a 2024 Homecoming Court member and a research assistant. A neuroscience major from Powell, Alison’s most impactful experience has been working with BuckeyeThon, where she has served in a variety of roles, including most recently as Vice President of Advancement. In addition to overseeing three directors, Alison balances high level strategic planning with mentorship efforts and has furthered her own commitment to BuckeyeThon’s mission by actively fundraising herself. She has also been involved in Bridge Tutoring, a volunteer initiative dedicated to supporting bilingual students in Columbus, which deepened her commitment to service and education. After graduating, Alison plans to take a gap year before medical school and will work as a patient care assistant at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, helping her to develop strong patient-care skills.
