Women in Business has a mission to unite undergraduate students through their common goal of empowering women interested in business fields. They foster a supportive environment by means of collaboration, professional development, philanthropy, community building and participation in engaging discussions. Although associated with the Fisher College of Business, WIB is open to students from all disciplines. This approach to membership creates space for collaboration across professional fields and personal growth cultivated by engagement with differing perspectives. WIB measures their success by the positive changes their members experience in their lives. The Excellence in Finance Award Winner, WIB maintains their own 501(c)(3) status, and ensures financial transparency through their own internal audit process. Committed to these tangible outcomes, Women in Business is an organization with an emphasis on demonstrating that careers in business fields can be for anyone.
