Ohio State’s chapter of the Society of Women Engineers organizes events and initiatives that focus on their members’ educational, social, professional and mentorship needs. For example, with 125 different companies representing over 20 different industries, the SWE Career Fair is an extension of SWE’s core values which provides invaluable experiences to engineering students. SWE also engages in outreach to serve the broader Columbus community, partnering with local schools and nonprofits aligned with their mission of expanding opportunities for women interested in engineering.
