A senior from Stow, Ohio, Sarah Schmidt is graduating with a dual degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics and Communication Analysis & Engagement, which she has pursued while serving in numerous leadership roles, including Chief of Staff for the Undergraduate Student Government. Sarah has a passion for enhancing academic and service opportunities for students and has spearheaded initiatives like securing free access to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal for Buckeyes. Beyond USG, Sarah serves on the University Senate, the Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board, and is an active member of Alpha Phi Omega and Mortar Board, blending her passion for institutional advocacy with direct community service. Whether working on campus-wide policies or engaging in service benefiting the broader Columbus community, Sarah has remained committed to leaving Ohio State a better place for every Buckeye.
