Lauren Wagner
- Title: Outstanding Green Buckeye
Lauren Wagner is an Environmental Engineering major from Powell, Ohio who has gotten highly involved in the climate space during her time at OSU. As a founding member and current president of the Carbon Capture Club and Vice President of the American Conservation Coalition, Lauren has built her leadership skills and connected with people across a variety of disciplines to approach environmental change through. She is currently a finalist in the Smart Campus Challenge, where she and her team assessed the needs of the university community to design a project that focuses on uniform recycling. She was instrumental in establishing OSU’s Earth Day Festival, which has grown significantly under her leadership. Lauren has also gotten involved with the Ohio State community through her employment as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and as a Teaching Assistant in the Engineering Education and the Civic, Environmental, and Geodetic Engineering departments.
