Jacob Harmon

• Title: Student Organization Outstanding Positional Leader Award

Jacob Harmon, an Exercise Science major, excels on campus both as a student-athlete and as a leader in advocacy. As a member of the Men’s Gymnastics team, he competes at the highest levels, including the NCAA and Big Ten Championships, while maintaining an exceptionally high GPA. His dedication extends beyond athletics—he serves as President of Buckeye Spectrum, where he is proud to champion LGBTQ+ representation in sports and student life. Under Jacob’s leadership, Buckeye Spectrum has expanded its impact, including by organizing Ohio State’s first queer-centered NIL forum. Jacob also contributes to community service through Special Olympics Ohio, where he has made numerous contributions, including by helping to design health programming for athletes with intellectual disabilities. In all his endeavors, Jacob demonstrates empathy and a commitment to service and care for others.
