A student-athlete-led organization focused on promoting the health and well-being of college athletes, Buckeye State of Mind (BSOM) places value on self-care and the commitment each member has to their athletic pursuits. Seeking to ensure that every Buckeye has access to a supportive community where their mental health and overall well-being are prioritized, BSOM’s programming is guided by mental health data, student-athlete feedback and the 10 Dimensions of Wellness, ensuring alignment with the mission, vision, and goals of the institution. This includes BSOM’s Scarlet and Gray Tailgates, which are festive, welcoming gatherings in a sober environment that bring together more than 4,000 Buckeyes.
