• Title: Outstanding Senior Award

An African American & African Studies major from right here in Columbus, Jaiden Davis is committed to creating more equitable pathways to leadership for students of color, particularly Black students. As the founder and president of the Undergraduate Society of Black Leaders, Jaiden has created a space where Black students can learn transformative leadership skills and be empowered to be leaders at Ohio State and beyond. As a Social Change Ambassador, he has helped enact community engagement projects to address inequities across the Columbus community. Passionate about scholar-activism and social justice, Jaiden intends to take these experiences and skills to aid in his pursuit of a professional career, hoping to eradicate the way that labor and employment law perpetuates racialized oppression and dehumanization. He also aspires to teach at the collegiate level to reproduce youth and young adult empowerment, especially within minoritized community populations.
