• Title: Outstanding Student Organization New Member

This Buckeye Spectrum member is a sophomore Exercise Science major from Hooksett, New Hampshire. Men’s gymnast Jacob Harmon hit the ground running with passion, intentionality and effort in his representation and voice for the Buckeye LGBTQIA+ student-athlete community. His consistent attendance and dedication to all of the organization’s programming far exceeds the expectations for new members. Jacob has worked with men’s gymnastics at the University of Nebraska to collaborate for an upcoming Pride Meet that he advocated for and helped plan. He has also been able to amplify Buckeye Spectrum with his teammates and nationally within the sport by connecting with various podcasts and student-athlete leaders across the nation.
