A medical student from San Francisco, Gabriel Lee has dedicated himself to the off-campus community, especially in the realm of LGBTQIA+ and HIV health and wellness. Their early involvement at the Columbus Free Clinic during his undergraduate years at OSU led him to found the Rainbow Clinic. This clinic exclusively serves LGBTQIA+ patients and provides safe, gender-affirming care in a diverse, supportive environment safe from discrimination. He has also been actively involved in legislative advocacy, testifying on several bills in the Ohio Congress that impact the lives of LGBTQIA+ people. Their leadership, both within healthcare settings and advocacy platforms, exemplifies the transformative impact of compassionate and inclusive healthcare practices.
