• Title: Outstanding Student Organization Emerging Leader

A sophomore finance major from Silver Springs, Maryland, Cullen Brown is a leading force in his organization, Redefining Athletic Standards (RAS). RAS serves as a forum for Men of Color student-athletes to come together, tackle social challenges, and foster personal growth. Through his participation in RAS events and initiatives, Cullen contributes to building a strong sense of community and solidarity among his peers, across sport and across campus. By collaborating with peers from diverse athletic backgrounds, Cullen fosters a sense of unity and collective action within RAS, maximizing its potential to effect meaningful change. By actively involving underrepresented students and fostering cross-disciplinary partnerships across campus, Cullen has provided sustainable depth considering RAS's impact.
